Passive investor!

The current investment environment is one of greater dangers for passive investors as inflation heats up. Pay special attention to the ongoing conflict in Iran and the Middle East.

As a passive investor, it is important that you include some capital gains assets (i.e. high-quality growth and value stocks) in addition to the income-driven investments (U.S. Treasuries and corporate bonds) that you might normally hold.

Due to greater inflationary dangers, it is also important to keep up with current events and hold assets, such as short-term U.S. Treasury Bills and inflation-protected bonds, that retain value in high-inflation environments. Cash is especially vulnerable if it is not invested or interest-bearing.
